ATTN Pennsylvania Vapers! Take Action To Oppose A 40% Wholesale Tax On Vapor Products

Pennsylvania’s budget is most likely being voted on today, June 30th, 2016. CASAA has learned that there are now two options for the vapor tax. By now we should all be aware of the 40% wholesale tax which is excessive. But, in the last few weeks, a small “per milliliter” tax has been proposed that is more workable. We have heard that the proposal is anywhere from 5 cents to 7 cents per milliliter.
Although the latter tax proposal would allow Pennsylvania vapor businesses to remain somewhat competitive, this is still an unacceptable expense to pass on to consumers that are simply trying to improve their lives.
Please take action NOW by sending your lawmakers a message urging them to oppose ANY extra tax on vapor products!

A 40% wholesale tax on vapor products is most likely back on the table as Pennsylvania legislators return to Harrisburg on Monday, June 6th, to discuss the state’s budget.

It is vitally important that Pennsylvania residents take action this week by emailing and calling your lawmakers and urging them to oppose a tax on vapor products.
