First off I'd like to thank the guys over at o2 Vape for being nice enough to send out this DUO Pro for me to try out. Seeing as I'm locked away in my house hiding from Corona virus I've had plenty of time to play around with this. Right off the bat I enjoy the basic concept of this pen: a simple, easy to use 3 in 1 pen. It's got the ceramic tip as shown in the picture on the right, where you let the tip heat up, touch it to your concentrate of choice and inhale through the 'bottom' of the pen, then you have a dual quartz rod heating chamber under the black mouthpiece shown in the picture on the left that you inhale through the top of the pen. And because it's 510 threading you can also use this to power up whatever cart you want. Starting with the ceramic tip, it's performed pretty well over the past week or so. I was a little nervous the ceramic would get too hot and start to 'torch' the concentrates and kill the flavor, but it's pretty much been at the perfect temp. Nice smooth rips. As you can see in the picture above the ceramic has a bit of a golden tinge to it now... IMO it's impressive it hasn't started to turn black and cake up a little bit. ![]() Then theres the dual quartz rod heating chamber. The chamber itself isn't super wide, a bit narrow seeing as it has to fit under the mouthpiece. That means you can't necessarily pack a whole lot in it, but enough to get a few good pulls before its empty. Like the ceramic tip, it's heating up to a pretty perfect temp, so far no nasty black buildup on the coils and preserving the terp flavors. Battery life has also been pretty good. I only recharged it once during the week. If you were using this as just an 'on the go' option and only taking a few puffs a day it would probably hold a charge for quite a while. All in all, this is a really cool dab pen. 3 in 1 versatility for $35 is a solid deal in my book. I only have 2 small complaints, if you really want to call them that. For one, I'd like slightly more air flow. You're not going to be blowing any massive clouds of dab, but if you're looking for something discrete this is perfect. Second, seeing as you use both ends of this pen to inhale depending on the heating element you're using, it'd be cool if o2 vape could make some silicone covers for the mouthpieces when you're not using it. Again, thank you to the guys over at o2 Vape for sending this out for me to try!!
